This pattern makes a chemise and drawers all in one garment. This style of underwear first appeared in 1876 and was very popular due to the reduction in bulk at the waist of a more fitted type of undergarment.  There are 3 different necklines and it can be worn under virtually any dress, both day and evening styles.
