This skirt would be suitable for all time frames to be worn by farm wives, ordinary house wives, domestic or other working women. The circumference at the hem is about 74″ as fabric would be expensive for these ladies and voluminous skirts would hamper their work and life in general doing tasks or being domestic servants.

There are 2 buttons hidden in the waistband to adjust the waist size. The max size for this skirt is waist 33 1/2 inches but buttonhole elastic can be pulled in and using buttons on each side the waist can be made much smaller in 1″ increments.

Them hem is sewn at 31 1/2″ from the bottom of the waistband, but again we will hem shorter to the length you request at no extra charge.

This is a really easy care skirt, Machine Wash Warm and Dry Delicate … removing right after dry cycle and few if any wrinkles should be there.
