How to Tie One of Our Favorite Wild Rag Knots

First fold your rag into a triangle. The start rolling tightly front the point all the way to the long end. Put the rag on over your neck so that you have stability as you work. The follow this photo.
Place the right side of the roll under the tie end that is laying over your finger but position it so that you can bring it around your hand leaving enough of an end to correspond to the hanging other end in length.
Follow the arrows in the diagram. You will bring the end that came around your hand around to the front and be sure it passes over the original tail that was hanging over your finger. Then pass it through the place where your left index finger is and draw it through to create the knot. You will be pulling the finger in that hole back and out as you draw the end into its place and following it out as it goes.
Take one end in each hand and pull down on them equally. This will keep your knot straight and not skewed and will also keep your tie ends close in length. You can slip it off over your head and just slip back into next time you want to wear it. We do recommend you untie if before washing.
