This corset is taken from an original pattern found in the May 3,1886 issue of De Gracieuce, a Dutch magazine similar to Harpers Bazzzar.
This pattern has been modified slightly to accommodate the different cup sizes and modern body types, but retains most of the original proportions and elegance of the original garment.
