Choose your size and fabric preference. The camisole features a ribbon draw string neck and waist which you can adjust for your comfort. The slip waist is also drawstring and ties to secure. We use a short piece of elastic in the center of the drawstrings to allow for a bit of give as you wear these garments. This prevents them from binding and also keeps them from pulling the bow open.
The bit of elastic is not a typical detail from the originals but it makes wearing them more comfortable and unless you are in a clothing competition nobody else will even know or care about our variation from history. This makes a great summer outfit for the modern gal as well and is perfect under your period dresses and clothing for sure. We also offer a 3 piece set that includes pantaloons elsewhere on our site. We will select complimentary buttons for the fabric you choose.
